Mediator 3000/4000 & MOS PUP bounty idea
« on: September 05, 2006, 02:22:46 PM »
I suggested "support for Mediator 3000/4000(I/D/T) in MOS PUP" bounty
@MorphZone.

It might be non-viable task, something not worthwile from developer's point of view or it might be a good thing from many points of view. Personally, as a owner of A4000&CSPPC&Mediator4000 I'd gladly use MorphOS on my system.

Afaik, Mediators for 1200 have limits and would make quite a mess to be supported in clean OS like MorphOS. Mediators for bigbox Amigas presumable doesn't suffer from these limitations, so maybe it could be and should be done?

With support and encouragement from end users this might happen, but is there people enough with this combination of hardware, and are they intrested in this? And if yes, does this bunch of people contribute anything for MOS PUP? These questions may need answers before anything happens.

I remember DiscreetFX promised to donate A4000 version of Mediator for this support - is this offer still available?

Comment, and if you feel like it, show support here and MorphZone

Ok, there is now 3 persons (me included ;-) ) shown intrest on this subject - surely there is more? Let's make us heard, and maybe some developer will take this idea seriously, I hope!

Could it be a good idea to ask the amiga-news-team if they can publish it as a news item?
