Are there any users that can use the latest drivers?

My system locks up when I try any 4.17 version, 4.16 3 patch 2 is the latest version I could get to work.

I'm using a Delfina Plus...

I tried Delfinit (with all argument combinations), Delfmem, and no initialization (with the AmigaAmp trying to init).  Tried booting with no startup sequence.

No luck, locks up every time...

Heard the sound quality was better with the latest driver and I thought I would play to get them going.

Locks up here with my Delfina Lite, too. I think it only works with the Flipper. It's open source, though - I wish someone with sufficient skill would put it back into development...

I read  on Amibay that a user with a Lite card and a A3000T installed them and it worked fine.   Said it removed a bit of hiss in playback.

4.16 B3 Patch #2 has been rock solid and produces beautiful sound with MHI and AmigaAmp, but always looking for a little better.  I pmed him, but I thought I would ask other users..

Try this test Matt, turn the volume off on the player and turn up your speakers, I hear a background "zzz" noise that goes on and off very fast.  If I turn off AmigaAmp or stop playing, the noise goes away.  Do you have the same noise?  Funny before I read his post I didn't notice it, since it isn't that noticeable....

I am using that in my A1200 with clock port Delfina, works fine. On my A4000 with same Delfina connected to X-Surf or Deneb clock port it will lock up the machine, but runs with 4.16. But with 4.16 I have random lock ups while playing mp3 files.
So I always believed that it has something to do with Zorro-Bus and lib 4.17.

Use mhi and amigaamp and lib 4.16 b3 patch 2.  It is the only combination that works with my card perfectly.

I can play any mp2/3 for weeks solid under different cpu loads with no issues even with the screensaver.  I have a setup guide you can checkout.  (One change to the guide ... increase the buffer to FILE in amigaamp.)

Let me know.  All other delfina 4.16x libs will lock up and cause trouble...

Completed my research and sadly I was wrong.  

The 4.17x drivers will ONLY work with the flipper edition.

Along with Matt H, hope that someone adjust the existing drivers to work with the zorro based delfinas.

All isn't bleak, the existing 4.16 Patch #2 is perfectly stable with MHI and AmigaAmp.  The sound quaility is still very beautiful.  The background noise is there slightly, but I woundn't have noticed it if it wasn't brought to my attention.
