This is monstrous.  Unless he is stopped, probably by judicial authority, Harald Frank is going to continue threatening and abusing Amithlon users, Bernie's friends and supporters and potential Umilator partners.

Legal action is prohibitively expensive, but there may come a time when his behavior cannot be ignored.

I wonder if his past harassing actions amount to criminal violations in Germany, or what business oversight organizations (government or otherwise) could be effectively complained to.

I feel like I've met a small child sick with cancer, who turns out to be so obnoxious that I no longer want to offer comfort, but hope everyday to hear that it has died.  If you've followed this thing over the past year, you'll probably agree that it's THAT bad.

Gack!?!

The market's so tough, I can't see how ANY form of legal action could make it
worse.  Action on Amithlon/Umilator should not hinder OS4, MOS or Amiga Inc.
I suppose some participants would have to take time to be deposed.  Can you
suggest specific harm that would come from such action?

Other than flames from all the ardent supporters of Mr. Frank :-)  :-)  :-)

Yes.  The payoff cannot possibly be money to the plaintiffs.  The goal is removing
a malevolent and obstructive force from the emulator market.

I'm not sure that actually FILING a class action suit is the best path, but if a credible
threat could be mounted, it might exert pressure on HF.  Talking to German
regulatory agencies or industry associations might be a good start.  I admit that
my comments are all vapor without a German agent (I live in the U.S.), a fund to
support the initial research and a commitment from Bernie and other harassment
targets to provide information when the time comes.

Finally, although I am not keen on Haage & Partner, I don't think they should
be targeted unless they actively try to obstruct Umilator's release.
