Using a PAL CD 32 in the u.s.

Hello all. It is almost impossible to find an NTSC version CD32. I have had a few oppurtunities to get a PAL version, and was contemplating the possibility of buying one, and then getting a step down converter. I think this is rather expensive though. Ideally I want to also get a floppy drive so then I can use my Amiga floppy games on this unit as well. If anyone has any suggestions I would really appreciate your help very much!

I do have a u.s. Amiga CD 32 brick, but u.s. is 110, and PAL CD 32 units are 220 or 240V. I believe I would need a step down converter in order to operate the PAL unit in the u.s. I could be way off, often am. Any thoughts?

I do have an older PAL compatible Commodore monitor. So the u.s. power supply should run the European CD32? I guess I was thinking that the voltage difference would have to be addressed. If not, that is fantastic!
