So I guess that A500, 600, 1000, 2000, CDTV, CD32, are pure garbage then? Thanks for posting here.

The sooner Amiga Inc. are consigned to the history books the better.  Good riddance.

Hi impactor,

I totally agree, but unfortunately it's an attempt at mediation, and Amiga Inc. probably won't budge on their demands, making the whole exercise UTTERLY useless, as all they're asking is Hyperion lose everything, while Hyperion may be willing to enter a sharing arrangement, pretty much of what the original contract was, where Amiga Inc. gets royalties, and Hyperion can sell AOS4.x to who ever they want to, ported to whatever is available.

Amiga Inc. has been so vile, stupid, and done so many pointless activities absolutely throwing money away on anything but constructive ventures, that I don't even like the agreement way, and want to see them lose everything as well.

Hyperion Entertainment has a very solid case.

I attended the court case last year (May 31st) in Seattle and A. Inc. was very amusing, trying to stare down Hyperion's 1 lawyer with their 4 lawyers and an assitant. Bill McEwen was there (I figured out later when I was directed to a photo of him). I assume he thought things went swimmingly. :-D HAH! I don't think so.

Hyperion's lawyer was fantastic. I'd of figured him seeing so many on the opposing side would have phased him, it didn't at all.

I truly don't think Mr. Kinsel would have taken the case if he didn't think it had legs.

Check out Amiga Inc.'s big guns:
