How do you avoid tin whiskers when repairing Amigas? Do I just use a leaded solder or what?

For classics you probably need to use leaded solder anyway. Don't know if the lead-free stuff is compatible. Before rohs, leaded solder melts at lower temps so other board materials are workable at certain temperatures. Higher temp lead-free solder could burn the thing due to higher temps to melt that. Newer rohs boards etc. Can be worked at the higher temps.
