I'm looking for a flat panel TV with S-Video that will work with one of Amiga Maniac's V3.1 RGB to PAL/NTSC Adapters. Must support PAL and NTSC!
Anyone know of any models which DO work?
I DO NOT want to buy another one of those Video Conversion boxes!
Yeah those things DO NOT WORK.
I'll just say I have one of Amiga Maniac's s-video adapters and you will not be disappointed. My advice for your LCD is like this:
1. try to find and older 4:3 aspec ration LCD TV , will match your old NTSC s-video the best.
2. if 1 is not an option, find an LCD the auto detects 4:3 or 16:9 signal and basically will work with either smartly.
Other thoughts:
#1 - you might find used cheap
#2 - you could have a nice all in one VGA, s-video, HDTV solution with that setup...
