This monkey's gone to heaven
« on: June 05, 2010, 09:43:19 PM »
I know this is not strictly Amiga but, I was going to get a C64 to midi with my Amiga. Sad news is my ebay win was a big looser. It has booted maybe twice, with some garbage screen and maybe twice with a normal looking blue start screen.No cursor blinking.

Well, question is, could it be fixed? Who can? Should not bother and just keep it for parts and find another one? If so, I hope to salvage the SID off this one...

Ok, I'll check it... I guess that's a good idea, considering this thing is from 1983!

:idea:

Right. I'm thinking it was sort of working, going bad. And then a going, going, gone decline happened to the PSU. I have some hope for the MB...

Try to put my hands on a known working PSU now.

Thanks guys.

@Thegoose,

I've got several power supplies sitting here that I'm pretty sure are for a C64. I'll bring them to you when I give your A3000 back......BTW answer my damn email I sent you yesterday! ;)

That is what I was hoping, a PSU. But I got no email??? hmm, maybe you sent to work...
