Well, that could be - 3.1? Which would be great news. About 1.3 roms you could expect:

• The bug in AutoConfig was fixed

• Memory autoconfig was added; "addmem" commands no longer needed - THIS WAS A BIG IMPROVEMENT - NO SOFTWARE NEEDED

• The recoverable RAM: drive was called "RAMB0:"

• Autoboot from hard drive, and other non-DF0 media (except CD-ROMs)

• Addition of the Shell


My A1000 has 3.1 roms, works great and OS 3.1 is the best, quickest Amiga OS for a 68K (that Commodore made).

Escom built nothing. They did put their name on stuff though.


Here is some pretty thorough 1.3 information I think:
1.3 sounds like the true beginning. I do remember 1.1 and 1.2, loading KickStarts, floppy swapping all the time. Don't miss those days.
