I know that feeling! I keep saying I want to do all this stuff with my Miggy's, and you know what I wind up doing instead? Playing Moria for five minutes of distraction from work. And man, I still suck at that game. Just got killed at level 4 by a white worm mass, FML! 
I might have a little something-something coming for Christmas though... you can guess what it is! 
I am sadly in the same boat, no time for play, still need to reconfigure my Amiga so I can finally win Cannon Fodder!
