What's funny is his comment at the bottom of the post:

Before you fire off that email just know I'm in NO hurry to sell.
It was only $1500 last year when I first listed this.
See you at $10,000. lolololololol.........

I'm not sure what he is hoping to accomplish. I've watched the auction for months and he keeps raising the price.  Does he think his little threat will cause someone to "jump" on it before it gets to $10,000?  He's also selling some Epson dot matrix printer from the 80s for $2,900.  For laughs, I emailed him and asked how much memory it has and if it has a hard drive.

At any rate, I'm kicking myself for not jumping on one of the $200-$300 units a year ago.

I think he's just saying that he'll only let go of it for a ridiculous price, and doesn't actually want to sell it.

Speaking of kicking oneself.... there was someone on here a few years back that was giving theirs away for free, and I had posted that I'd like it.. he PM'd me,but I was away from Amiga.org for a bit, and didn't have PMs email me instantly... so I missed out on it.  Yes, I am kicking myself for that.  Though I ease my thoughts by thinking, "well, it probably would have just sat there next to my Mega STe, 1040 ST and TT030, since my A4000D is taking up what  little desk space I have.  So hopefully that free A1000 found a nice home.
