I haven't quite read through all the descriptions, but this is AWESOME!  My current emergency disk feels sort of hacked together, with adding a few things like PFS and 060 libraries to it.  It still crashes Amidock and once that happens workbench itself is very buggy (for example, I can rename and copy files, but if I try to open up the 'information' dialog to change icons or something, it doesn't do anything.)

This would be excellent, since I do have Poseidon and a Mediator, so If I could get an emergency disk working that got up and running all the hardware for a quick test/fix, then it'd be immensely useful!

That totally makes sense!  All of the above that is.

Yeah, I don't know how it'd be possible to boot from the Spider USB card, had the same thought process when I was putting in an Adaptec UW scsi card, no way to use it as a boot drive (not to mention a 10k rpm drive adds a ton more noise and heat to the system).

I did just check, the settings on the Radeon file in the Devs folder on the Emergency disk says "(SETTINGSFILE=EMERGENCY-DISK : DEVS/Picasso96)"  I tried to remove the parenthesis (aren't they essentially commenting out the option?) and changed it to DEVS : Picasso96Settings (as you say, the space is to prevent a smiley :D) But still no luck.

Thanks for all the ideas though, makes me wonder if I could make a copy of the OS3.9 disk and put it on a CD-RW and add a few files to it...
