Every TV repairman is eager to repair old TVs and monitors: no SMDs, easy to replace capacitors, no imbedded processors. All they can do with modern equipment is swap out boards IF they can find a replacement. But a CRT that has lasted 30 years will likely last another.
Well that's a bizarre connector!
http://www.ebay.de/itm/California-Access-Bodega-Bay-expansion-chassis-fur-den-Commodore-Amiga-500-OVP/331421596488Granted it is pristine, in the box, with all packing. And people thought I was crazy on my price!
Not necessarily crazy. If I was rich I would probably decorate my house with these. Although then all my friends would probably think I was crazy. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Commodore-Amiga-8371-8372-Agnus-Chip-Silicon-Wafer-/361119168336?ssPageName=ADME:B:FSEL:US:1123
OMG,The Darth Vader of Amigas: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Amiga-4000d-040-NON-FUNZIONANTE-/301480188979?pt=Altro_Informatica&hash=item46319e9c33Sadly, the price would be OK if the case were not ruined.
Amiga 4000D with 040 and new caps just sold on eBay for $1,225 USD. "New" floppy (likely DD), CF hard drive, 18 MB RAM, damaged MB with jumpered traces, and a Gotek drive.First it was Title IX and now the world has gone mad!http://www.ebay.com/itm/261798961448?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
Here is a fun listing: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Commodore-Amiga-2000-Model-US-ASCII-VERSION-/311360426364?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item487e87117cYes folks; this a sale of the ASCII version, not the common IBM EBCDIC version!A once is a lifetime deal for a rare ASCII keyboard!Being a US version, it won't work on PAL systems, and you Canadians are SOL too, as it won't spell "Color" as "Colour."
Well, since the A2410 just went for over $500 and that Amiga dual CPU card for over $3000, what do you guys think this is going to go for?http://www.ebay.com/itm/331559798998?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&fromMakeTrack=trueAlthough at least the A2410 is usuable, haha. Where is all this rare S**t all of a sudden coming out of the woodwork? Did some hoarder kick the bucket, somewhere?
Sadly, it did have a CyberStormPPC, CyberVisionPPC in it a few weeks ago.The CVPPC is listed separately, and a very dead CSPPC is available if someone is interested. When I bought the CSPPC a while back I was warned that the PPC side didn't start up all the time. I never had a moment of trouble with it. I ordered and installed OS4.1FE a few weeks ago and ran it for about a week solid. The SCSI chip failed, then the PPC and finally the whole board died. I moved the CVPPC, the 060 and the RAM to another board, they are tested and work great.Check out the other items I have listed as well. I have a Hydra Systems Amiganet NIC for sale and a Merlin RTG board and an RBM ONBoard 4000/Towerhawk rig too. Sold my A3660 (A3640 with 060 conversion) boards, sold my other A4000s - this is the last machine to go.
There are a few sites relating to the project. Here is one:http://eab.abime.net/showthread.php?t=53808&page=6"Alexh" would be a main contact to get you started.*** Edit: This is the one I had in mind: https://amigafun.wordpress.com/tag/68060/
