My understanding is that it will be available sometime next year, connector will be DVI-I, and it will have improved memory performance (vsynced 75Hz PAL mode for us CRT junkies).

This just dawned on me! Now why would you want a DVI-I connector and vsynced 75hz for a CRT? I don't even know of any CRTs that have DVI connectors.
Even if you do get a CRT monitor with a DVI connector, it's still going to be an analog signal (though I guess coming from an Amiga it would be anyhow? Analog-digital-analog....)
Thinking about it though, I could actually just get a VGA-DVI adapter now and connect that to the backplane instead of the vga connector from the Indivision AGA MKI that I currently have if I wanted natural DVI. But then again I have a Radeon with DVI and the VGA from the Indivision connected to an LCD monitor at the same time so I can just switch between the two when needed.

As Xanxi said, the HighGFX mode is rather slow, but from what I understand the MKII is supposed to have some faster bits to it so that may change.
I currently have a A4000 040/25 and a Mediator with Radeon and you can definitely tell there is a large speed difference in 1024x768 16million colors on the radeon compared to the 1024x768 256 colors of the HighGFX.
