The point i was making about Catholic and Atheist was that all atheists i know are very opinionated. I find them smug and annoying. They always seem to want to prove that they are correct in that religon is flawed. Don't get me wrong, i know Catholics and other religons do the same thing just not as much as atheists seem to do.
I had a friend who was an atheist. When i told him i am a catholic but don't believe in god he called me an atheist. I told him you don't have to believe in god to be a catholic and he said my understanding was flawed and i don't know what i am talking about. This has been my experience of atheists in general.
I know the dictionary definition of what an atheist is: "someone who absolutely doesn't believe in god". But my opinion is they have outgrown this and become their own little zealot cult.
Atheists are annoying.
