I see... an early Christmas present.

Where is the receipt so I can return it the day after Christmas!

This is turning into another X1000 bashing...

To a degree people do have the right to be annoyed. The X1000 is not marketed as the beta X1000 computer.

As for driver support, it is a insult to all X1000 customers that there is talk of the X2000 when the X1000 is still a work in progress.

Certainly the rate at which Hyperion develops drivers is pathetic, but that is not A-eon's fault.
Trevor has even give cash to Hyperion's contracted developers for 3Ddriver development (which still has not produced results).

Well what sort of contract does A-eon have when it comes to Hyperion?

Surely, any professional business would have clauses that would require Hyperion to meet their deadline? Perhaps A-eon's should stop making excuses and start fighting for those who have invested in the X1000 so they can have a fully non-beta machine!

The whole A-Eon's business model is stuffed. You cannot charge a premium for incomplete products and then wonder why people complain. So what if the hardware is great if the drivers are still in beta. What A-Eon needs to learn in future is not to release products prematurely and to provide them complete (hardware and driver wise). If that means that you have to limit hardware advancements at the expense of delivering proper drivers - so be it!
