Well in short: Just don't go buy AROS system and expect Windows kind of functionality. Or Mac OS X, or even Linux.
Then dual or tri boot the system. AOS/MOS/OS4/AROS does not have the resources to compete against Windows. Linux doesn't have the resources either but it's within a stones throw of Windows.
