Currently John is porting AROS to EFIKA so after that, porting to other PPC machines shouldn't be that difficult.  As for x86, if you don't own one you want to use AROS, try dumpster diving.

Ralph owns MorphOS so it's in his hands.  AROS is the only one where the coders have control.
