The main problem with Aros is lack of software and the fact that barely no computers seems to be supported fully with device drivers. It myself think it would be better if the Aros team tried to fully support a few computers models instead of trying to support all kinds of different mobos and such with half working workarounds like it is today.
Incorrect. If you want a mobo that AROS supports (other then SATA/firewire which AROS does not currently support), get ASUS nVidia mobos. Way back when I had Black Troll Technology Corporation active in retail, I made sure the product I was selling had AROS support. AROS still benefits by the money I spent on nVidia (on ASUS) support. Sound, 2D, NIC, works wonderfull. Now there is even ATI support.
