True. I wrote a small library to synchronize applications. I added support for this in AE4 and Alfred Faust is now working on it for B&P. In this way you can use your favourite audio app with your favourite MIDI app, if both have support for this library of course. The integration will be such that if you press play in one app, the other will start as well, after making sure that data is pre-loaded, to provide optimal sync. There can be even more than 2 apps connected to the server (video, audio, MIDI, ...). Now we only need multiple monitor support... :-D
Concerning VSTi: I have no knowledge on writing virtual instruments, but in the future I might write an open plug-in architecture for other 3rd parties to use.
