Seriously, I once saw the same thing using the DblPal mode on a friend's 1200. The chip just gets hot when pushed.

He shoved a cooling rib onto it and it was fine thereafter.

The 1200 case isn't very well designed for heat dissipation, which is part of the problem.

Seriously, get yourself one of these for your A2500 and see how it compares. P5 may be long gone but they did design nice cards :-D
