You're never too old for a bit of "take everything you say literally" humour.

The problem is, you're never too old to watch the tumbleweed roll past afterwards either :lol:

Ever see the monty python sketch about "joke warefare" ?

It began with a normal suburban house, then a shot inside of a guy writing at a desk.

The narrative went something like "This is Earnest Scribbler. He is about to write the funniest joke ever and consequently, die laughing"

And he did. It then went off tangentally (as most python stuff does), showing joke warefare, Adolf Hitler telling the one about the dog with no nose etc...

/reverie

Man, I wish they'd repeat Flying Circus again soon :-)

@adz

Got beervision yet? :-D

/token on-topic guesture...

So, speaking of obscure python sketches, anybody remember that bizzare one where some alien dessert type thing was going around randomy turning people scottish?

One of their more truly surreal offerings, the full plot unfolded that said alien wanted to win wimbledom and reasoned this would be best achieved by turning all possible competition scottish, who are alledgedly rather bad at tennis :lol:

Or the boxer (John Cleese), who sleeps in a bed by the thames, gets up for a breakfast of gravel and fights schoolgirls in the ring?

Truly, spectacularly bizzare :-D
