Such a shame what's happened here lately.  Old skool trolling and heavy handed moderation put me off posting a while back.

Strange, those complaining the loudest seem to be shouting about the absence of moderation *shrug*

As it looks like its about to get worse, I think i'll bail out at this point before I get moderated out of existence.

The only thing I've ever seen you get in trouble for is an overuse of bad language.

If you are serious, then all I can say is, just take as long as you need. Don't ragequit and burn your bridges like some seem to. Then you can come back any time all this has blown over. Which it will, just like every other time in years gone  by.

Seriously though, the site is for amiga users, not their computers per se. Since amiga users are actually people and have interests that go beyond using their computers, it's normal for them to wish to talk about other things.

Let's face it, this isn't the first time you've hinted you don't like to see non-amiga specific discussion here - which I have to hold my hands up and admit to partaking in so yes, I guess I mean me. And a few others that act likewise.

Anyway, you come across as a rather unhappy person. Why not put your feet up and tell us all about it?

All discussion here should be communicated via 68K assembler subroutines that generate output on an Amiga. It's the only way to be sure.

Should the message text be procedurally generated (at least in part) for added brownie points? Or at least stored in some packed format that precludes just reading the dc.b lines

All the so called Amigans here are now Windows, MacOS, iPhone, Android, you name it fans, but not Amiga enthusiasts. At least one can hope they will not ruin the English Amiga Board.

Hey, I resent that. My main A1200 is used almost every evening, particularly at present. Even the A1. Just because I happen to have an android phone and a Linux based PC doesn't preclude me from being an Amiga enthusiast. And the same is doubtless true of most people here.

No, Franko pretended to be banned for 3 hours last night and a couple of people fell for it.

He's not the only person that has done it. Unfortunately for them, there's a bit more to faking being banned than changing your user title and not logging in for a few hours.
