Winter is a dark and rainy time in Helsinki (southern finland). Or at least it was until recently. Last couple of years have been totally different: The whole city has been literally drowning in snow. Currently we have more than 54cm (23 in) of it.I decided to take some photos, and here they are:http://picasaweb.google.com/105070339462562147829/SnowInHelsinki#Amazingly for example public transport works, though with small delays. Personally I prefer this proper winter over the darkness and rain.
A heavy downfall of snow in Manchester tonight.
Snow in Helsinki? Isn't that like coal in Newcastle?
What's this "snow" to which you refer?
And this is what scientists and politicians call "global warming"?
