Opinions & Advice On The Mediator PCI Please...

I have a second A1200T that has a Mediator1200 + Voodoo 3. Works just fine (actually not true, there are presently some HD issues, but nothing whatsoever to do with the Mediator), but I've not tried the Mediator1200 / BlizzardPPC combination since my BPPC machine already has a BVision anyway.

Once you have PCI slots then (just like USB) you'll wonder how you ever lived without them.  

The biggest "How did I ever live without them" upgrades I had were, in rough chronological order:

Hard disk
Accelerator card
RTG card
Network card

Your forgot the most basic one...

TV to Monitor ...

Goes with the RTG card. I got a BVision and a 1600x1200@75Hz capable 19" CRT at the same time. That was an expensive weekend, I can tell you :lol:

Don't be too sold on the BVision. It's a nice productivity card, but if you want to play 3D games, I found the Mediator/Voodoo3 a much better combination performance-wise.
