Well, my reference to broccoli here was in relation to the amiga.org meme (started, IIRC by Mr A500 with his hardware fix that used the elastic band from a bunch of the stuff), rather than any more general one kicking about

Unfortunately nvidia does not provide any documentation about their chipsets and thus we're not planning to add support.

How about investigating the nouveau drivers? I'm not suggesting using the code directly, but the required information needed to create a CGX driver for a range of nividia hardware is surely in there somewhere. You've also got gallium as an inspiration if you want to 3D support.

It's a pity that neither the p96 or CGX driver SDKs are available to the community at large :-/
