I'll probably get flamed for this, but what the heck.

To expand on Jorkany's post, no existing amiga/amiga-like operating system can replace linux as a main OS unless you are prepared to give up a great deal of what you probably take for granted right now. However, they are great as hobbyist OS.

That's not true. I like linux and I like Amiga. I use linux as my everyday OS (apart from the times when I feel the need to partake in a spot of gaming and windows makes an appearance). For a long time, I used AmigaOS only. I still use my classic machines, A1 and UAE too.
