:lol:

Yes I am sure you can fit a SCSI one no doubt. As for the driver / filesystem you might find its OS2.04 or above only.

Why do you want to use a CD on your Amiga2000? I find CDs are much better on their native platform...

@DoomMaster,

Aw come on dude, I know imitation is the sincerest form of flattery and all that but you don't need to explain yourself...

Now I do recall you mentioning making a games compilation on CD...

One problem you may have is that many old games were designed to run from custom floppies that can boot but not be copied from amiagdos. No doubt you have seen a fair few if your vintage games collection is as extensive as you say.

Being totally serious for a moment, have you tried a package called WHDLoad? Basically it is a modular hard disk installation system that has installation patches available for hundreds of games, including all those ones that used dodgy custom boot code.

Most install patches fix the common OS1.3 <-> 2.x / 3.x incompatibilites and also common 680x0 CPU problems thus allowing you to not only install the games on your hard drive, but run them from OS2.x/3.x equipped 68040 A2500 ;-)

Try it, I am sure you will like it. What's more, you can then burn your installed games to CD for safe keeping :-)

Second, I would never buy an Amiga 1200 computer for myself.  I am smart enough to know that the Amiga 1200 is a piece of low-quality, poorly designed piece of crap.

So you say, but I see you utterly failed to respond to my challenge...

And the Amiga 3000 and 4000 will not run the vintage games.

As I said earlier, why dont you save yourself a sackful of grief and give WHDLoad a spin on your A2500? I guarentee you will not be dissapointed.
If my 'nothing internal in common with A500' KS3.1 AGA based A1200T with its 040/PPC/BVision can play some of the most hardware-bashing, floppy disk only, OS1.3 games ever written via WHDLoad, I am sure your A2500 will. Try it, what have you got to lose?

Third, I never have any problems with my Amiga 2000 Series computers.

So how come you keep asking for so much elemental help with them?
