You'd probably need a driver to be fair. If you want to go for a flash memory drive I suspect the ones that plug straight into your motherboard's IDE would be better. The PCMCIA slot isn't exactly quick.

Tbh you would be better off (by far) by getting a IDE->CF adapter, since any CF card plugged into it would automatically be recognised as a hard drive. It would also leave the PCMCIA port free for an ethernet card.


LOL, beat me to it. I would say an ethernet card is the best thing to put in the PCMCIA slot if you use your amiga seriously amid other machines.
