One of the worst games in my opinion was Deathmask - I'm sure I've mentioned this before.

TKG was great IMHO. However it was universally slammed for its speed, which I can sympathise with.
However, you have to look at it in the light of the fact that Andy Clithero was working pretty much single handed on the engine and under pressure to get it out as quickly as possible.

Still, it ran fine on 040 in 2/3 screen, even better with the tkgturbo patch, and it actually was quite smooth on my friends CS MK3 (060@66MHz)... Mind you, clickboom's quake port was even faster on his system than TKG itself :lol:

From the gameplay POV, the thing I really hated was the stockpiling of ammo/health. They should have left it as it was in AB3D1, perhaps with a difficulty setting that sets the cap for ammo/health.
