I'd just like to add that I used to run executive on 040 @25MHz + 16Mb and it was fine.

I also run it on my BlizzPPC + 64Mb, and it is still fine.

Other than using some ram and adding a small overhead to task switching for the statistics processing (not noticable in my experience), I can't see what the problem is.

As long as you read the documentation properly and correctly set it up for your needs it works extremely well in my opinion. Both my systems have proven far more responsive and better behaved under heavy load than using statically assigned task priorities.
