Well, what do you usually listen to?

I'm listening to The Vines a lot at the moment, interspersed with Radiohead, Thom Yorke, The Prodigy, Oskar and Zero 7. Less often I listen to Aerosmith, Kula Shaker, Blur, Hard-Fi, Faithless, KT Tunstall and a few more. I also listen to orchestral music when the mood takes me (not very often).

No, I like my music loud and obnoxious

I've recently been listening to the gentle, not-at-all-harsh melodious compositions of the late, great Bryn Jones ;-)

Given his stagename and the nomenclature of his (prodigious) discography, I'm sure a couple of special branch guys will be around for a chat later...

Noise music doesn't imply loud. Rather it's a genre of music constructed wholly or in part from  non-musical sounds.
