You have to get it just because its something someone else has that you don't ;-)
Sure you think you don't need it now, but the seed kernels of doubt are there, nestled maggot fashion in your psyche. Eventually, they'll become rare and you won't have one still and then the rot sets in.
You'll try to get one but they'll elude your grasp, the harder you try the more elusive they'll become. You'll rage at the injustice, lashing out at friends and loved ones before the real direction of your frustration takes hold and you direct it all inwards. By then, it'll be too late, nobody will be able to reason with you. The anger and bitterness of not owning the total range of hardware will spread out, consuming you and leaving nothing but a burned out wreck of your former self....
