MOS point blank refuses to run on my machine, which is odd since it's not that unusual a config.

It has a BlizzPPC 603e+ 240MHz / 040 25MHz, 64Mb + BVision gfx card, IDE (sucks, I know) HD and an IDE CD rom connected to the PCMCIA via a telmex card (sucks even more). A windoze keyboard is attached via a EZPC connection and a standard amiga mouse.

Even without the CD connected, it just doesn't boot. No error messages nothing, just a blank screen and the whole machine is locked up.

I tried several versions along the way and kind of lost interest since a blank screen lockup is as far as  any of them got.

Hi Kenny,

It was a completely clean install on it's own partition. Heh, it's still there IIRC..

The flash is OK AFAIK, but of the top of my head I can't tell you if its the most up to date (it does early startup screen retargetting to the gfx card, I recall the previous verion did not).

I know I have a setting in there that helps shapeshifter run but I tried switching it off also. I just could not persuade any version I've tried (the most recent from march IIRC ?) to boot once no matter how I fiddled with settings, so I got fed up and lost interest.

Well, like I said, clean installation and followed to the last letter.

I tried maybe eight times to get it to run and nothing. I don't even think it generated a debug log.

Anyhow, b*gger it. I'll wait for a BlizzPPC compatible OS4 release ;-)
