Spring is definately here. I just walked a few miles doing some errands today and I actually felt too hot!

The trees are starting to bloom, the sunlight is mellow and warm. Great :-)

Oh, and it's Friday (of course)!

Of course, the joy of Spring has been tempered somewhat by receiving this years feckin' Council Tax Bill :-(

I was pleasantly surprised that mine didn't go up that much from last year.

Having said that, a hundred and forty odd quid a month, for a single person is fahking outrageous!

In my opinion. :-P

I thought I might just send them several pints of my blood instead...

Actually, who the hell was Nora, anyway? And how did she become an expletive? :-D

Bloody Nora is such an "old blokes playing dominoes in the corner of the pub and chatting about their woes" kind of remark.

Reminds me of my old local, where a pair of old guys basically spent all their time (and pension money, one expects) doing just that.

Occasionally you'd just hear one come out with "Blooooody Norrrra!". Usually when talking about the activity of the local chavs ;-)

Pretty restrained, really :-D

I wouldn't say the place was that bad, although I hear it went downhill a lot in the last few years.
