Their custom download prog crashes here and BT didn't do anything the first 15 mins but after a while I was dloading at 70kbyte/sec.

Delete it? At least that's what I did, it couldn't really grip me to go beyond the island thingy you crash onto after you stepped into that shuttle.

Hmmm...you might be tempting me to give this game another try....

Regarding Q3, you might want to give Return to Castle Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory a try. It's a free (as in beer) multiplayer shootem up based on the Q3 engine.
