X-bEnCH 0.85b - The Amiga Game Launcher & More !

X-bEnCh is an Amiga game launcher & More.

With 128 colors on screen (even on a simple A500), this Frontend can autoscan your hard-drive to find your whdload games or your .exe and organize them in launching listings.
X-bEnCh also have an integrated CLI fully compatible with the Workbench CLI feature.


Actual features list:

- 128 colors on screen for all Amiga
- Autoscan and organize your whdload .slave and yours .exe from your HD
- Unlimited subdir scan
- Internal script system
- Up to 6 launching lists in parallel
- Unlimited number of entry in each list
- Autoscan and use Whdload Tooltypes
- If no Tooltypes availables you can set up default Tooltypes.
- MegaRam mode to gain extra chipram without rebooting
- FastJump mode to jump where you want in a list with the keyboard
- Integrated cLi 100% Amiga cli compatible
- System friendly setup panel
- Many more will come in the nexts releases.


New features are:

- A new installer will setup X-bEnCH for you.
- Modified files checks on startup.
- Menu Starfield optimised (Faster with 20% more stars on screen).
- Checkerboard loader issue with Indivision/HighGfx fixed.
- "sysinfo" cli command added.
- "help" cli command updated.
- The cli tab is now activated in the setup and you can change the cli colors.
- Many internals checks added.
- Internal changes to be ready for the future Xplorer alpha-testing.
- ...

Before using Xbench 0.85b, there's two essentials points on which I would like to draw your attention:

1. Please don't extract the .lha with winzip/winrar on windows. Extract it only with the lha command on AmigaOS or the installer will crash with a guru.
2. In the installer, be sure to finish the path with a colon or a slash or it will freeze before the end of the installation.

- Temps files cleaning fixed.
- Checkerboard loader timer fixed.
- Fixed a bug in the MegaRam option.
- The cLi start a bit faster.
- Fixed the Sysinfo command in the cli (68060 support & more verbose).
- Destination path check added to the launcher tab in the setup.
- Destination path check added to the installer to prevent guru.
- Internal improvements.
- ...

Release note:
- Fast volume fader fix.
- cLi should now work with all setups. (SuperPlus displaymode and strange rom included)
- Added a path requester for the installer.
- New path checks in the installer to prevent guru.
