Exactly! What machine? What browser? What OS? I've never found a speed test that would work without proper java support (I've asked here several times). :(

Hi the program was called  Amiga speedtest off Aminet  ,the os is 3.9,i use ibrowse  and Roadshow and its Amiga 1200

OK, tried the software (it sure does mess with my screen rez!)...
I get 000184000 apx.....
Which would seem to translate to about 1.8 MB/S (meg per second)

Not bad for an 11MB/S wireless card on an A1200! :)

Hi that's close to what mine reads only I am using a Easytnet pcmia Ethernet card  with roadshow  is this ok then? lol

That's great for your Miggy! I'm sure that your actual bandwidth from your Internet Provider is much higher. You'd have to test your bandwidth with a modern Windows/Linux machine to get a more accurate measurement though.

Hi thanks gizmo350  :laughing: well that's good news and who would have thought the humble Amiga would ever surf the net at 2mb warp speed ,what a blast ,bye for now Brian.:):):)
