Amiga 1200 os3.9

Hi i have just installed os 3.9 on my amiga 1200 with a lot of help from my dear friend Franko,and i am thrilled to bits all is working very well except i want to play my mp3 discs, the music player /amp opens up and reads the mp3 disc but no sound even thou its playing the tracks, is this because there is no mp3 codec in os 3.9 and i have to go find one?

Hi thankyou very much for your help,and yes it did need a little bit of setting up,and with Frankos help managed to get the the mp3,s playing,very grateful to you all and best wishes
