My A1200 died 2 years ago. I bought Amiga Forever when I had a areally low spec PC, and soon lost enthusiasm for it because of the lack of speed. Once I had a decent (read 1GHz Plus) PC, it became faster than my original A1200 - now I seldom use Windoze. A superb package, well thought out, and the community supports it very well - highly recommend it.
