Amiga.org browsing habits

Out of interest, do people who have amiga.org accounts actually log in while they're browsing around, or just when they want to post something?

Also, do you have web browsers that can log you in automatically?

Well, for some reason Firebird does sometimes, and other times doesn't...weird

Yeah, I think that's a problem with Mozilla/derivatives - between upgrading to Firebird and the last server move, FB flawlessly logged in properly every time.  Then the server move happened, and FB stops working.  I've tried nuking cookies and re-setting AO cookie option to get it to save again, but makes no difference.

I do not care for auto logins or cookies on websites I visit due to security concerns (not sure if my concerns are valid or not, but I recieve a lot of spam these days).

I don't know of any security issue with auto-login, not even an issue with IE and autologin, let alone a decent web browser :-)

There is only really a spam issue if your email address shows up on a publicly viewable web page.  Which is why I unticked the 'let other users see my email address' box on AO.  The amount of spam I received afterwards dropped drastically.

Why do you ask? Would you guys prefer we did log in?

No, I was just intrigued by the usual "who's online" statistic being twice as many guests logged on as members.
