My mum got really annoyed at my dad once, when he referred to connectors as male or female :-)

One funny thing about that article is that someone obviously considers that "primary" and "secondary" don't have the same implication as "master" and "slave", if you look at it from the same blinkered perspective.  One implies it is more important than the other.

"First" and "second" also do as well.  Damn, no competitions anymore!

The term "PC" should be banned too, as PCs aren't very politically correct... it's not like Microsoft tolerates competition... :-)
