Make it in the shape of a boing ball, kinda like one of those apple macs but totally round so it falls off the desk

Although semi-seriously, if it were in the shape of a ball, you could have the stand underneath it acting as a cable tidyer by making the stand's legs hollow, then near the feet have cable exit wholes.   But then the bulk of the plug has to get through.  Oh well, it was a thought :-)
