I reccomend Cloanto's AmigaExplorer. I bought it a year (or two years?) ago and it was really easy to install and perfect for backing up games and putting ADF's back on disk. There's also another program wich is free, but then you need Basic on your Amiga. For this program you need at least WB1.2 on disk or so.

As I mentioned before, AmigaExplorer works fab.
And buying a null-modem cable? Every dedicated computer/electronics shops has one.
