And chucking a ball around for the dog, who has been laid up for two weeks with a cut paw, so is currently going out of his tree as the bandage has just come off :-)

Make sure you wash it at least everyday with clean water.

Oh, and how I am today,
I'm anticipating a hangover.

Nothing has changed over the past month then :p

It's pure denial because I turn this week 29, so the big three-oh is around the corner, and I finished my study and I'm a working man currently. I have to compensate for all these responsibilities I have as a grownup man now ;)

I agree 100%. We're very lucky in that my other half works from home, so can be with Marvin during the day. Any chance you could do the same?
Friends of mine advised me to get a cat, because you can leave cats alone during the day of work.

Oh dear... Denial FTW.

Congrats! How did you do?

Thanks :)
My project was reviewed a 9 out of 10, so pretty good I suppose :)

Though getting a job was kinda hard, I got lots of replies, but they all were a bit reluctant when I told them I have Asperger. Thankfully, a company where I've done an internship before, were looking for programmers, and they knew what I'm capable of.

But cats are rubbish. No pet can provide the companionship of a dog.
It all matters what kind of cat or what kind of dog.
And of course it matters how you are.

Look at how soft and gentle this cat is:

You rock :afro:
(That is "rock" as a verb, not a noun. I'm not calling you a rock...)

That expression has puzzled me quite some years indeed, but I've accepted it that some expressions just do not make sense

If they can't recognise your skills, abilities and great personality during the interview, but have to use a label to decide whether they want to employ you, then they're not worth working for. You can do better than people like that!

Great! Is it the company you wanted to work for before, when you had already accepted a place elsewhere?
Eh, no, that's another. There I couldn't find any vacancies. And the company where I finished my graduation project, had to lay off people because of the recession, so they were not legally entitled to hire me.

God, is that all? As bummers (that's the melancholic meaning of the word) go, 30 is so overhyped.

I dreaded turning 30. Then it happened. And guess what? Didn't really feel any different.
Of course I know that ;) Just being overdramatic.
But still, I have to confess I don't live the life I lived when I was 23.

rock 2 |rɑk| |rɒk|
verb
2 [ intrans. ] informal dance to or play rock music.

:afro:

Yes, but the thing that puzzled me is why to name a dance to the most inanimate kind of object in existance.

Ahh well, as long as you're happy where you are :)

Yes, very nice colleagues, 25 minutes cycling from home, and much programming to do. I certainly do not have much to complain. :)

What the frak is that thing?! It's clearly some sort of unholy dog/cat hybrid. Either a cog or a hat...?

It's a butterfly dog.
In the best condition they look like this:

But that's of course like saying every woman looks like Samantha Fox.

Oh, and also "rock" as a verb has another meaning, namely a way of moving. So that might be something to do with it.
Hmyes, but still...

Anyway it's the same thing with names. Why can people have the same name? If it was up to me it'd be custom to give a person a unique ID as name (well, together with a unique family ID).
It's just that people don't want to live and think pure ;)

I tend to lose things quite often, and when I do, I often think to myself that if the world were an SQL database, I could just do "SELECT location FROM world WHERE object = 'mykeys'".
And that's why I always wear my keys on a chain attached to my trousers.

That would be bad.

Sooner or later, somebody would try "TRUNCATE world" or even worse "DROP TABLE world"

Well, today I did the following: UPDATE Person SET Hangover=0 WHERE Name="Eyso"
