P.S. I lost my Amiga shortly after the millennium, but I've still got all the 130-odd disks full of games. Is there any way of using WinAUE (I have that) to play them off floppy disc? I tried one in my PC through windows explorer, but it just said "This disc is not formatted; do you want to format it now?

You need a catweasel controller for that. But to avoid the hassle, just check Back to the Roots (bttr) for a lot of legally downloadable games. These are .adf disk images, which can be used with WinUAE. AFAIK you can also record the sound from WinUAE to a wav file.

Well, there was sometime ago a project where a guy copied amiga disks to the pc using two floppy drives, dunno where there's a link of this...
AFAIK there's also an usb-external amiga diskdrive adapter, but I guess you still need a lot of soldering and programming.
The easiest option is the Catweasel controller; normal pc floppy controllers just can't do the job.
The amount of fuss/money just doesn't justify the ease of downloading an image, trust me. (unless you got a 9k6 modem or something like that)

And ripping a midi? Well, it can be done in principle, though I never heard of someone who has written a program to do this. Google is as much your friend as mine.
