Who in heaven's name wants to attract German girls??
According to hetero friends of me, you must be more eastwards. Czech Republic, for instance.

I think you are! Feelings are feelings, no matter who who feel them for :-)

She lives here in the UK, but yes she is German :-)
And you want her to think you're cute because of your attempts of speaking German

Oh, shouldn't be laughing about it  :sealed:

t.b.h. I think showing the effort to understand the German way will do the job. :-)

Hahahahaha! No, she's pretty much over me now, though I still have hope! I've wanted to learn German for years (Search for an old thread on here called leaning german :-) ) but she gave me the kickstart I needed to actually do it, and I have to say I really enjoy the language!

Well, she can understand the English words you are saying, but, if you want she really understands you, you need to know how things are done in Germany, what the thoughts of Germany are, so to say. You need to understand her 'surroundings'. You need to understand the subtleties, the humour, the cliche's, the sayings, the habits, everything.
