How does the platform limitation work?

What if a new "Amigoid" OS is written?
Does Syllable fall in this category?
Dragonfly BSD?
What is the cutoff point?

There just seem to be slippery slopes and contradictions with open source and platform limits that I would like clarified before donating.

Ok, I didn't quite catch that from my initial read.

It is normal open source, but the trademarked name can be used on the specified platforms.

Thanks for the clarification!
