From the PDF "Der ScanDoubler II ist ein 24-Bit Flickerfixer für den Amiga 4000"

I don't speak German, but it sure looks like it's more than 12 bit to me.

I'm interested as well, but the fact that it only doubles the rate does worry me.  It won't act like an Indivision, LCD's will still be hit or miss.
