Until Apple halve their prices they will never gain significant ground in computing market share. Their profits come from i??? products and related services (iTunes, Appstore).

So it is us the consumer who is still getting shafted since Commodore, Atari and Acorn went down the pan. Still nothing out their even worthy to share space with a 1985 520ST let alone A1000.

Microsoft Windows PCs.....cheap disposable rubbish.
Apple computers doubly expensive mildly less rubbish.

What the report fails to realise is Xbox, Kinect and corporate customers/OEM/pre-install captured market mean Microsoft will never go bust this decade. Neither will Apple crack the lucrative corporate sales in computing outside arty farty niche companies BUT have a huge presence in telephony/handheld tech market.

Bit of ill-informed non-news really.
